![]() I've been enjoying the game lots and I hope people give it another chance and try out all the changes/new heroes because they are really fun to play with. The best way to apologize is to make the game good. The reaper skin was almost definitely going to be a reward from the Halloween event anyway. At that point why have these stupid reards anyway. What pisses me more of is the fact, that there is no way for me to earn rewards outside of the mediocre (also the payed) Battlepass.Ĩ weeks and you have enough to buy 1! skin if you do every single weekly challenge. Isn't it always for online games nowadays? The EXTRA mile from there would be to not have a bad unlock system for heroes after S1 and just having their legendary skins, emotes, charms, or victory poses solely through the Battlepass. The better solution would be unlock the character for those who didn't have it and credit 2k credits (or something similar) to people who did have her unlocked. ![]() Unlocking the new character for all players would diminish both the gameplay or the money people spent to unlock it already. If you want to do something genuinely impactful to say sorry to your playerbase, what not give everyone the currency to buy whatever legendary skin they want, unlock all characters for new players so they aren't punished for picking up Overwatch prior Overwatch 2, which is a misnomer and should just be called "Overwatch with worse gameplay and toxic battlepass money grabs." Until then!īlizzard: "Here is a gun charm that no one cares about, a skin that will only mean something to a small subsection of players affected, and some double XP in hopes that you will actually play"Ĭome on Blizz.
